The Greatest Gift.

The greatest thing you ever gave me
wasn't the expensive diamond ring.
Not the love notes or the drawings,
shoes or clothes or paid for things.
No, the greatest gift you gave me
came not with "I love you."
The greatest gift you gave me
came when you told me we were through.
The tears I spent thereafter
were just wasted ones indeed.
Because to see what you've become
shows that you aren't anything that I need.
You always have a way to piss me off
and still you succeed
with your narcississtic comments
and the judgemental ways you creed.
Despite it all, the mess you make
and how you treat me like you do.
I do not revoke the time we spent
because there's significance - hard but true.
Not only did I realize
the type of man that I do not need
but you led me straight God - the ultmiate gift;
I thank you, I do indeed.

A Tale of [Who?] in the Form of Haiku.

A Tale of [Who?] in the Form of Haiku.
By: C. Espinoza

Clothed in a rainbow.
The people throw tomatoes.
I'm sad - they are gray.

Technicolor dream.
This movie is black and white.
What evolution?

I do not like you.
Let the invasion begin.
Guns versus knowledge.
