Stranger In My Life.

Hello stranger.

That’s how I know you.
The blood we share,
It’s all the same.
Our mother,
Father;
They love us both.
But you and I
Are just in passing.
I know your name.
You know my name.
But when we speak,
We speak in different tongues.

Hello stranger.

Wish I could meet you.
But when we meet
It’s only new
All of the time.

Patience is a virtue.

All I ever wanted
Came and went like spring.
All I ever needed
Was an elusive thing.
The hardest part of grasping
Was the oil on my hands.
The hardest part of asking
Were the words I didn’t understand.

Patience, patience
Little one.
Someday. Soon. Then.
Your time will come.
And all you ever needed
Will unfold
Into the things you ever wanted.
Those things
Will soon be told.
And at last – you will grasp,
And you’ll ask and
You’ll know.
And the time will come
And you’ll learn to let go,
Let of go of the things you want;
Because none of it is as perfect
As the things that you’ll have,
Only after a bit of
Patience is had.
